  13. I have done what you describe - use a TEvtHandler for serial communications -
  14. successfully in the past, but there are problems keeping up with 9600 baud
  15. purely from MacApp's idle loop.  Using MacApp only makes more important what
  16. you should be doing anyway at that speed: using the asynchronous I/O features
  17. of the Toolbox and lots of buffer space.  (Sorry: I don't have any code I can
  18. release, but it's not difficult.)
